Nestled in an 18th-century city tower in the historic town of Guastalla, this exhibition was a highlight of a yearly flower and plant fair. Commissioned by the municipality to draw new audiences to the venue, I engaged two female photographers whose works transcended floral romance, revealing hidden lyricism in a realm of ‘fake’ and ‘fading’.
